What is Tech Prep?

Tech Prep is a restructuring of the educational process designed to prepare students for high skilled technology careers.  Central Community College works with David City High School in a number of courses that are offered at the school to count toward college credit.

So what does that mean to you as a parent?

Your high school student is able to take a high school course and earn not only high school credit, but also college credit at no cost to you.  These courses emphasize "hands on learning" and directly connect the subject matter with the world of work; For most high school students, this form of learning makes sense and makes their courses interesting and worthwhile.

For more Tech Prep Information contact:  Mrs. Siffring or Stephanie Jacobson, CCC Tech Prep Coordinator at 1-800-652-9177 or sjacobson@cccneb.edu
