David City finally had their first competition of the year Dec.8 and 9th at the eleven team Ne. Dual Tournament held at Cent. Comm. College in Columbus. David City finished third and did not wrestle the the second place team in the tournament. Total points scored was the criteria to determine team standing. David City placed two individuals on the all dual team. Travis W. and Tyler P. represented David City on the team. Team results were Millard South 544. Adams Central 408, David City 405, Lutheran High Northeast 345, High Plains 321, Gothenburg 296, Neligh Oakdale 286, O'Neill 283, Cozad 230, Omaha Bryan 189, and Wahoo 151. Individual records: 103-Nathan S. 3-6, 119-Aaron R. 8-1, 125-Tanner W. 8-1, 135-Taylor N. 5-4, 140-Travis W, 9-0, 152-Chris P. 8-1, 160-Tyler P. 8-1, 171-Ethan H. 8-1, 189-Lucas K. 6-3, 215-Josh R. 1-8, 275-Travis T. 6-3.
David City will be busy this week when we host a Quad. Thursday @ 6 p.m. David City will wrestle their first dual against Lakeview. Schuyler and Central City will dual each other and the winners of the duals wrestle each other and losers wrestle losers.
Dec. 15 David City heads to Valentine for the Valentine Invite. that starts ant 10 a.m.
