The David City wrestling team made history by taking home the runner-up trophy at the Valentine Invite. on Dec. 15. This highest finish David City has ever finished at the Valentine Invite was in fifth place. This traditionally tough tournament had 12 teams participating.
David City placed eight wrestlers with six in the finals and two individuals in the consolation finals. Placing first were Travis W. and Tyler P. Placing in second were Tanner W., Chris P., Ethan H. and Lucas K. Placing in third was Aaron R. and Nathan S.
