FFA Packages Nebraska Products

The 4th Annual Nebraska Products for the Holidays had another successful year. Mr. Angell and all of the members appreciate the support shown by everyone who purchased our products. We also appreciate the suppliers and parents that all play a very important part in this event.
Brian & Beth Z., Christine L., Cheryl K., Annette M., Barb R., Shari A., and John W. were the adults that came in on Sunday December 16 and assisted FFA members in packaging two-thousand one hundred and twenty-six items into the orders received from customers. At this point in time Mr. Angell has only had one phone call about a box of chocolate fudge missing from an order. The percentage of error is very low.
Mr. Angell said "the packaging went better than ever even though this was our biggest year for sales" He continued by stating that all of the extra help from parents was fantastic. There was also additional checking and organizing done ahead of time to help insure better accuracy. Packages were checked before going out of the room in which they were packed. Next they were grouped by which member sold them and then each FFA member had a list of all of their customers and checked orders again. The only problem Mr. Angell had was he was too busy checking orders out of the room that he did not have time to take any pictures of people in action.
FFA members earn credit into their accounts that can be used for FFA activities such as conventions, dues, FFA jackets, or other expenses related to FFA. The money left in their accounts can then be used as scholarships upon graduation from high school and attending college.
The entire FFA would like to say "Thank You" one more time for all the support and effort to make this program work. Merry Christmas to all and have a Great New Year!
