The David City wrestling team finished in the runner-up position at the York Invite. and scored 148 pts. on Dec. 21. David City had six in the finals and two wrestlers in the consolation finals. David City won six out of eight matches in the finals and consolation final matches. Grand Island Northwest had nine medals and won the championship with 155 pts.
Placing first for David City were Aaron R., Travis W., Chris P., and Tyler P. Placing second were Tanner W. and Lucas K. Placing third were Ethan H. and Nathan S.
Team scoring: Grand Island Northwest 155, David City 148, Crete 137, Schuyler 118, York 98, Wahoo 73, Lincoln Southeast 72, Raymond Ceintral 43.5, and Superior 13.
