Scout Golfers Show Improvement at Eagle

The Scout golf team improved 30 strokes from the first meet of the year at the Palmyra Invite that was held at Wooden Hills Golf course outside of Eagle, Nebraska. Tyler E. led the way with a 15th place finish by shooting an 87. Wade S. finished in 18th place with an 91. Matt H. finished in 18th place with a 92. Austin Z. finished in 29th with a 97 and Jesse B. finished in 31st with a 98 in his first varsity event away from David City. The golf team showed that they could compete on a difficult golf course and signs of improvement are good to see. The Scouts compete in a triangular event at home next Monday beginning at 4:15 with Columbus Scotus and Wahoo.
