Kindergarten
Kindergarten is off to a wonderful start. We have learned our routines and participated in many fun specials, such as music, P.E., art, library, and guidance. We are enjoying getting to know each other and making friends with our classmates. In our classroom we have been working hard on handwriting and learning our letters. We have also been learning about nursery rhymes, apples and we will soon be learning about our 5 senses. We are enjoying our centers and especially like our creative play area, some of our favorites are the cars and the dolls.

The best thing to spend on your child is time!
Beginning this month I will also be sending home a homework calendar with your child. Each day has a simple activity to do with your child. These activities will help your child build their basic skills. This will help them in the classroom. As you complete the activity for the day you can cross them off. At the end of the month if you and your child have completed the activities please sign the calendar and send it back to school (I do not need their work-just the calendar). If the calendar is signed and the activities completed your child will receive a small reward. The activities are fun and a great way to spend time with your child. Thank you for your involvement in your child’s education.
