The David City Middle School kicked off their season on September 25, with a 28-8 win at Schuyler. The Warriors were no match for the Scouts. The Scouts defense was dominate early and never looked back, not allowing positive yards to the Warriors on their first 3 possessions and only allowing the Warriors to one score the entire game. The Scout offense was also too much to handle for the Warriors. The Scout offense only took two plays to score two touchdowns early in the 1st quarter. The offense kept on track throughout the game, putting up 227 yards of total offense. All of the Scouts saw plenty of action and gained good game experience which could come in very handy in the upcoming games. The Scouts will take this week off and head to Stromsberg to take on Cougars of Cross County on the 6th of October. This will be a good test for the Scouts. Cross County was full of young talent last year leaving them with a very experienced group this year.
