Preschool

Hello from Preschool! Preschoolers are getting very excited for our Spring Preschool Program which will be on Thursday, April 29th. The morning program is at 10:45 and the afternoon program is at 2:45. We have been practicing our songs for a long time and are singing songs about mud, bunnies, frogs, ducks, and flowers. We have even made some craft props to go along with several of our songs. The program will be held in the high school gym.
During these last few weeks of preschool we will be reviewing all of the letters we have learned as well as their sounds. A few of the preschoolers are even reading and have been taking home some books to read to their families. Coming up, we will be talking about baby animals born in the spring. We will also be looking at how some animals are hatched from eggs, and some are not. A preschool favorite day, Beach Party Day, is coming up and we can't wait to wear our swimsuits to preschool to play outside in the sprinklers and have a picnic snack outside. We will be learning about oceans and making some ocean animal crafts.
If your child still has a library book, please make sure that you get those returned to school.
There are still spots available for 2010-2011 preschool. Please make sure you pick up your packet at the elementary office.
It has been a wonderful year in preschool and I have enjoyed working with your child! It is always fun to look back at how much we have grown over the year and all of the new skills we have learned. Have a great summer!
