Alumni Banquet Week-end Information

Jackie Daro Kastl, Class 1973 and Deborah Janak Vavrick, Class 1973, co-presidents of the 2009 Annual Banquet served our association very well this year. The results of their hard work paid off with approximately 300 people in attendance at the dinner. Honored classes were recognized and there was a speaker from each class who shared memories and much humor that was special to their own class. The Alumni Association committee wants to thank each one for sharing their thoughts.
The Association presented an American Flag to the City Auditorium to be used for future events. There is an inscription on the base of the flag noting the gift. The Association had purchased the curtains for the stage on the lower level of the auditorium several years ago and there is a plaque hanging on the wall reflecting on that event.
A special recognition of Gerald Kroft Class of 1928 and his wife Alice Miller Kroft, Class of 1932 for their years of attendance at the annual event and continued support of the DCHS Alumni Association.
More information will be published in the Alumni News that will be printed this summer and mailed out. If you haven't written a letter to be printed in the paper, please do so and it needs to be received on or before July 1st. Address to mail is shown below. If you haven't paid your membership of $10.00, you will not receive the paper but you can still send in your fee.
