NHS Inducts Thirteen New Members

   The National Honor Society induction ceremony for 13 new members was held at noon on March 17 at Winfield's.  The new members are senior Ciara S, juniors Taylor B, Danielle D, Brooke F, Sean K, Christina O, Kristin P, Lacey S, Alissa T, and sophomores Dillon H, Elizabeth H, Kaleb S, and True S.

    President Staci O welcomed everyone and started the induction ceremony by lighting the candle of knowledge.  Vice President Seth B, Secretary Carly B, Treasurer Hillary S, and Historian Ashley F spoke on the honor society's principles of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

    Following the ceremony, all members and guests enjoyed a potluck lunch hosted by the current members and their parents.

    NHS inducts students who have achieved a 91.5 cumulative grade average by the end of the first semester of their sophomore year and who have displayed good character, demonstrated leadership qualities, and served the school and community.

New members are (Front Row): Danielle D, Lacey S, Taylor B, Allisa T, Elizabeth H, Kristin P, Brooke F  (Back Row): Sean K, Christina O, Ciara S, Dillon H, True S, and Kaleb S.
