Scouts Compete at Wahoo
Triple Jump Record Broken
The David City Girl's Track team competed at the Wahoo Invitational track meet on Saturday, April 17th. This was a very successful day bringing home 9 medals and finishing the meet in 5th place, against some very quality competition. On this day, Kacy S. broke the school Triple Jump record jumping 34ft 8 inches. Also, Gentrie D, Brooke F., Kacy S. and Becky B. came within 1 second of the current school 4 x 100 record, a record that they all have their sites. Overall, the day went very well for the Scouts and all the girls competed very hard, many posting personal best. The Lady Scouts look forward to competing again at the Centennial Invite on April 20th, and look to turn some heads at the Conference meet in Wilber on May 1st.
