Twenty-Two Report For The 2010 Softball Season
The David City Scout softball campaign began at 7 A.M. on Monday with twenty two enthusiastic, encouraging and entertaining females ready to tackle the upcoming softball season. Some may think a rebuilding year is in need after six starters from last years squad will be greatly missed, but a mixture of talented freshman and experienced seniors are waiting to see if they can carry the momentum gained from last year into a successful journey this year. The Scouts will begin their season on Thursday, August 19th by hosting a triangular with Twin River and Schuyler that begins at 4:30 P.M. An evaluation scrimmage will be held at 7:30 A.M on Saturday, August 14th at the softball complex and the public is welcome to see a preview of the 2010 Scout softball team. Please come out and support the Scout Softball team this season.
