Scouts Get Swept by Fillmore Central
Fillmore Central defeated David City 25-14, 25-12, 25-12 in the season opener Thursday night at the Activities Center. The first set the Scouts played great defense and kept the set close at 11-7 and 19-14 before the strong hitting of Fillmore Central took over the match. The Scouts struggled with all of Fillmore's jump servers passing on 55%. The Scouts did serve well at 93% with 6 aces.

The Scouts will travel to Ft. Calhoun on Saturday to play DC West at 11:00 AM.
The Reserves and JV's had close sets with Fillmore Central but lost in two sets. The Reserves scores were 18-25, 24-26 and the JV's scores were 14-25, 23-25.
