David City Mentor Program is designed to assist new teachers in our district for their first three years. 

The purpose of this program is to help teachers navigate our school procedures and get assistance in their first years here.  Each new teacher will be assigned a mentor teacher.  Here are the links needed for the mentor program.

Year 1: Acquire and Integrate Knowledge through New Staff Orientation and Mentoring Relationships.

Year 2: Extending and Refining Knowledge through Professional Inquiry within a Critical Friends Group.

Year 3: Grow through Extended Professional Experiences.
