No one was late to school Monday: it was homecoming week! Our theme this year was Home Sweet Homecoming. Our dress-up days for this year were Rolo-ver Out of Bed (PJ Day), Mike and Ike (Twin Day), Pop Rock and Roll (Rock and Roll Day), Sweet and Sour (Teacher and Student Swap Day), and lastly Home Sweet Homecoming (Scout Pride Day). It has been a really exciting week.
Head Dance Coach Morgan Dredge, said “[We] coaches decide on the theme. We like to think of a theme where we know we can make a lot of fun decorations.” The decorations are really sweet this year. We have many delicious candies and sweeties hanging around the school. There are also some funny decorations around the school like the Oompa Loompas with teachers' faces on them and the Candyland Board with our Homecoming candidates on it.
The week was one heck of a candy roller coaster. It has had a lot of sweet and sour emotions. But overall it has been a really great week full of crazy costumes and we have seen some of the best Scout pPride of the year.
