Tough loss for the girls tonight against a very physical team. Boys took a rated Central City team to the wire but lost in OT. Back at it against Thayer Saturday!
The Esports Overwatch team has won their playoff matches against Falls City and Southern and will be competing at the Winter State Competition next Friday at York University. Congrats to James, Jon, Davi, Zayne, Stanley, Caroline and Neil!
The Mario Kart teams had a good run but faced some stiff competition in playoffs and had their seasons ended with losses to Winnebago and Thayer Central.

This runs from now until February 9, 2024.

Congrats to the Junior High boys basketball B team on their victory over Schuyler last night. The A team played extremely hard but came up short 44 - 41. Keep up the tremendous effort Scouts!
Lady Scouts with a high scoring win on parents night! 11 girls got on the scoreboard including a Hannah Gangwish 3 in the fourth quarter! Back in action Thursday at home!

The Scouts open up the Butler County wrestling triangular with a 60-13 win over East Butler.
DCHS was fortunate to have Crystal Vallee of the Steered Straight organization present to our 6th-12th graders on drug abuse and vaping today.

David City Public Schools will have a two-hour late start on Monday, January 22, due to the drifting snow on east and west county roads throughout the school district. School will start at 10am and buses will run accordingly.

The boys took advantage of an open Saturday to catch some Husker hoops action. It was the first UNL basketball game for 18 of the 19 boys on the team. We must have been good luck, Nebraska pulled away at the end to win by 6! Shout out to Matt Fleming for taking six hours out of his Saturday to drive our team to Pinnacle Bank Arena...it was his first game too 🙂
