The Scouts survive a late surge from Madison to win 44-38. DC led by as much as 19 in the second half, but 4th quarter turnovers allowed Madison to eat away at the lead. The Scouts went 4/6 at the FT line in the final quarter , which was just enough to help seal the victory. Dubbs led the Scouts with 14 points, Zavadny 9, Svoboda 6, Lukert and Osantowski added 4 a piece. On to Wilber-Clatonia!
Lady Scouts dominated in the last home game! Kamryn with a very efficient 15 points including a highlight reverse layup, Meagan added 13, Kambri with 11, 9 for Katilyn, 5 for Addi Rands, 1 for Natalie Robak, and a big THREE from Ava Daro. Wilber tomorrow!!

The FCCLA apologizes for postponing its Valentine Cookie Fundraiser to St. Patrick's Day due to an unexpected situation. Green frosting will be used instead. They want to assure everyone that the fundraiser will resume as usual next year. March will bring more details. Thanks!
Sixth grade students are participating in DARE this semester. Officer Nelson from the David City Police Department is the DARE instructor and talked to the students today about the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol.
