North Bend Softball Tournament
Blue River goes 2-1 on the day defeating North Bend in extra innings to finish in 3rd place. Tayja Slonecker had huge 2 rbi single to send the game to extra innings and Abby Lindsley was the winning pitcher with 11 strikeouts.

The Lady Scouts did a July shooting challenge. 18 girls participated for a grand total of 44,781 makes in the month!!! Top 3 girls were Katilyn Ewert, Kaitlynn Toelle, and Rylee Thoendel!
DC Youth Volleyball Camp Registration Night (incoming 3rd - 8th graders)
Members of the varsity team attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney's team camp this past Friday. Each of their six matches were two sets apiece. The Lady Scouts went 7-5 on the day facing some tough competition helping prepare them for their regular season.

On Tuesday, ten varsity teams and eight JV teams packed the courts for the David City Scout Team Camp. The Lady Scouts are working hard to prepare for the upcoming school year by putting in time in the off-season. Up next, is the UNK Team Camp on Friday. Go Scouts!
