David City 4th graders experienced the Middle Ages firsthand by holding their own jousting match and being ceremoniously dubbed knights.

Blue River picks up a 7-4 win over Wahoo tonight. The Panthers will host Milford on Thursday for their regular season finale on pink out night.

The Lady Scouts take down Wilber-Clatonia 2-0.

Last week, Mrs. Eickmeier’s 4th grade class at Bellwood Elementary finished their personal narrative unit. They celebrated with certificates of published authors, a book signing, and book share. The students have so much to be proud of!

David City Public Schools' teachers and paras are spending their professional development day engaged in a Marzano Training. Marzano is the instructional framework utilized across our district.

Scout Activities for the Week of Sept. 29th

The Blue River Panthers are the Southern Nebraska Conference champions! They defeated Centennial 8-6, Fairbury 10-2, and Milford 6-3 to win the tournament. 🥎

The Lady Scouts are your 2025 David City Invite Champions!
They defeated Clarkson-Leigh in the championship match 2-0 (25-19, 25-21).

🏐 David City Volleyball Invite Update
The Scouts defeated Central City (25-18, 25-20) and North Bend (25-15, 25-21) to advance to the championship match against Clarkson-Leigh!

3rd grade students at Bellwood Elementary finished up Unit 2 in Reading by writing animal reports. During this unit they learned about 5 different groups of animals and how to classify them.

The Cross Country team did a great job of starting the elementary students' day off right
