With four massive wins, David City Esports is the Division 3 Fortnite State Champs! Congrats Justin, Jaxon, Julien, Ethan and James!
The State Competition for the rest of the spring games will be in-person at Doane in 2 weeks.
Congratulations to Reese Svoboda on earning All-SNC Honorable Mention! He showed tremendous leadership and had numerous impressive performances throughout the season!
David City Elementary's March Madness Attendance Challenge concluded today. Kindergarten was the "Cinderella Story" of the tournament, starting in 7th place and crowned our champion! They ended with 93.12% attendance. In second place was Fifth grade 92.59%. The winner of the second chance bracket goes to Third grade with 95.86% attendance the last three days! Way to go! Every minute counts, so finish the fourth quarter strong.
There will be a pep rally on Monday, March 31st at 8:30am to celebrate the Speech team's NSAA C1 State Championship in the High School Activities Center. Parents and community members are encourage to attend.
Come welcome the Scouts state champion speech team on the square tonight as they are escorted back to town around 10:15 pm.

Reminder that the PTO Krispy Kreme donuts need to be picked up at the elementary office entrance today 3/27/25 between the hours of 3:30-8:00 pm. Thank you for supporting the David City PTO.
Reminder that school will be in session Thursday and Friday this week. Parent-Teacher conferences will be from 4-8 Thursday in an open house format with all teachers in their classrooms available to meet with parents.
Today High Ability Learner (HAL) students from both elementary schools got together for the third HAL day of the school year. They did five different experiments dealing with sound waves. It was great to see the collaboration of these students from both schools.
The Wahoo Golf Triangular scheduled for tomorrow 3/25/25 has been postponed to Monday, 3/31/25 at 4:00.
