The Bellwood Elementary Student Leadership Team is sponsoring a ReadBowl competition. Pre-K through 2nd grade and 3rd through 5th grade students are competing against each other to see who can read the most minutes outside of school time. Included in this post is a picture of the competition brackets thus far. We are two weeks into the competition, and Bellwood Elementary students have read a total of 16,678 minutes. That is almost 278 hours reading, and we are only halfway through the competition. Keep up the great work spending time reading! The SNC basketball brackets have been released. On Monday, Feb. 3rd, The girls will host Fairbury at 6:00 and the boys will travel to play at Wilber- Clatonia at 6:00. If either team loses in the opening rounds they will play on Saturday at Centennial.
Scout Activities for the week of Jan. 27th
Congrats to the MS Girls Wrestling Team at the Schuyler Wrestling Meet! Every wrestler earned a win! Brinleigh Osantowski took 1st, Kaileigh Covert 2nd, Lindsey Kitzing 3rd, and Avery Johnson & Ainsley Palensky finished strong in 4th. Back in action on Friday in Wayne. Go Scouts!
