Thankful for the opportunity to get some softball in tonight on the turf in Lincoln. The Panthers defeated Centennial 15-1 and are now 13-2 on the season. Next up is the David City Invite on Saturday.

For Dynamic Duos and Galactic Groups Day during Homecoming Week, the halls of Bellwood Elementary were filled with iconic pairs and famous squads! Students showed off their creativity as they transformed into characters and teams such as the Three Musketeers, the three-eyed little green men from Pizza Planet, Mario and Luigi, Two White Chicks, the Three Little Pigs, Paw Patrol and Chickaletta, SpongeBob and Patrick, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Bo and Luke Duke, and even Milk and Cookie.
It was another fun-filled day of Homecoming spirit as our students brought some of their favorite duos and groups to life!

🏃♂️ CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE UPDATE
Due to poor course conditions, the Columbus Scotus Cross Country Meet has been cancelled.
Unfortunately, the course will not dry enough before tomorrow to make it possible to safely conduct the meet. Additionally, the wet conditions would not allow buses and spectators on site without causing significant damage to the property.

Bellwood Elementary students went back in time today as they dressed in outfits from their favorite decade for Homecoming Week! ⏰✨
Students showed great creativity as they celebrated **"Back to the Future" Day,** bringing fashions from different eras to life throughout the school. From classic styles to colorful throwbacks, it was a fun day filled with school spirit, imagination, and a journey through time!
Thirty-four David City FFA members travelled to Husker Harvest Days to network with industry professionals and explore different career pathways in agriculture! Another piece in attending was participating in a food drive for the Heartland United Way. It was a great day learning about opportunities in agriculture!

🏈 JV Football 🏈
The JV football team fell to EMF in a hard-fought battle in the rain. The weather made for challenging conditions, but our guys continued to compete and battle until the final whistle!

Bellwood Elementary was filled with superheroes today as students celebrated "Guardians of the Galaxy" Day during Homecoming Week! 🦸♂️🦸♀️
Our students showed incredible creativity and imagination with their superhero costumes. From unique powers to one-of-a-kind designs, it was fun to see so many future heroes walking our hallways. "Super Shopper" was one of the most creative costumes of the day. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day super memorable!
