Southern Nebraska Conference Basketball Tournament brackets have been released!

The Lady Scouts will host a first-round game on Monday, taking on H & H.

The Scouts will travel to Heartland to face H & H in the opening round.

Esports traveled to Scottsbluff this weekend to compete in Scottsbluff High School's tournament. It was the largest tournament we've ever attended, and had a great time. Justin, Julien and Gerson took first place in Rocket League! In Mario Kart, Justin and Julien came into finals as the underdogs from the losers bracket and won twice, taking first! Gerson did great in Smash Bros, finishing 4th out of 45 players! Congrats everyone!

Scout Activities for the week of January 26th, 2026

Congrats to the Middle School Girls Wrestling Team who finished 5th out of 14 teams today at the Schuyler Meet! Strong finishes, great teamwork, and lots to be proud of. 7th graders created and performed skits to share their understanding of Medieval Japanese social classes. The creativity and teamwork were excellent!

The DCMS quiz bowl team competed at Concordia Lutheran in Omaha. The team of Max, Kaydence, Camille, and Andrea were quarterfinalists in the 23 team contest! On their way there they unfortunately had to knock out their teammates. It was a fun day of good competition. 💡🧠✨

The Bellwood Elementary 3rd graders just finished up character descriptions in their Unit 6 Viking unit! Two of the 3rd graders won prizes in the 100th day drawings, and they enjoyed sharing them with classmates.

Lady Scouts got to see the Husker women in action today! Was a fun atmosphere and a nice weekend off. Conference and subs right around the corner for these hard working girls.

The Scouts had a strong outing today at our home invite finishing in 2nd place. Individual placers... 1st-Hayden Schmit, Daren Vodicka 3rd-Colson Nicolas, Manny Venegas, Jesse Divis 4th-Colton Steager, Max Jasper 5th-Garrett Small 6th-Teagan Rerucha

The Blue River Panthers received a last minute invitation to the class A state dual tournament and had an outstanding day. The Panthers went 3-1 on the day with wins over Omaha Benson, Ralston, and South Sioux City.

This past Monday, Neil, Gage and Trevin had the opportunity to perform in the Kearney High Underclassman Honor Band. It was a fantastic day filled with great music!

🏆 NSWCA Girls State Duals🏆

The Girls Wrestling team received a late invitation to compete in the NSWCA Class A State Duals and will be hitting the mats tomorrow! 💪🤼‍♀️
