This morning Bellwood Elementary took a virtual field trip to the moon with the NASA Walliops Visitor Center from Virginia. Daniel from the visitor center did a great job explaining facts about the moon and about the upcoming Artemis II mission. Our students were very inquisitive and asked some great questions.

Lady Scouts start off conference week with a home win! Lot of contributors led to some stifling defense and some great rebounding. On the offensive side Kambri Andel not only poured in 33 points, she broke 1,000 career points in the process! Great accomplishment and team win!!!
At Bellwood Elementary's Monday Morning Chat (MMC), Ms. Tachovsky gave the students a preview of the upcoming Winter Olympics. Students then divided into their Bellwood Elementary families and competed in different Winter Olympic mock events. We had ice skating, skeleton, curling, and ski jumping. The students enjoyed these fun activities!

The Scout wrestling team had a solid showing at the Southern Nebraska Conference Tournament, finishing 2nd place overall as a team! 💪🤼♂️
With their strong performance on Thursday against Boys Town and Seward, the Scouts also locked in their spot at the State Duals Tournament next weekend in Kearney, Nebraska.
